This policy explains the personal data used for your tracker and the shared, public data used by the arcade locator.

What Prefecture Mate stores

Your account email and display name, your manual visit and clear records, your selected map mode, and—only after an optional sync—normalized CHUNITHM player profile information. Your tracker rows are protected by account access controls and are not part of the public locator.

What it does not store

Prefecture Mate does not store your SEGA ID, SEGA password, raw CHUNITHM cookies, or raw authenticated pages in its database. The usual import is a bookmarklet: you sign in on CHUNITHM-NET, and Prefecture Mate receives only the player-data and 全国行脚 pages long enough to parse them.

Shared arcade locator data

The public /locator map reads a shared dataset with an anonymous client. It contains official ALL.Net location fields such as store name, address, business hours, coordinates, source/detail URL, and an optional static map image URL. It may also contain community-reported CHUNITHM cabinet totals and Gold/Silver/CVT counts from the CHUNITHM Wiki (WIKIWIKI), with the community source URL and report date. These records are not linked to your Prefecture Mate account, and your personal progress is never published through the locator. Community pages are cached server-side for synchronization and are not publicly readable through this app.

Browser location

If you press My location on the interactive CHUNITHM arcade map, your browser may ask for location permission. The resulting coordinates and accuracy are kept only in memory in this page, used to center the map and apply the distance filter, and are not saved or sent to Prefecture Mate.

Map sources and external links

The national overview geometry comes from @svg-maps/japan under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. Deep-zoom prefecture and municipality geometry is derived from Geolonia Japanese Admins and Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) National Land Numerical Information. Locator details come from the official ALL.Net locator and secondary WIKIWIKI community pages. Address lookups may use Japan's Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) address-search service. Opening a location detail may automatically load its static map preview from Google's maps.googleapis.com service; that browser request is sent to Google and is governed by Google's terms and privacy policy. Store directions and links can also open ALL.Net, Google Maps, Apple Maps, or other external pages. Those services are independent of Prefecture Mate and have their own terms and privacy policies.

Data kept in your browser

Guest progress and guest map-mode preferences stay in this browser. Your language selection is stored in a preference cookie, and the sign-in form may remember your email and session preference. If you opt into CHUNITHM-NET password login, an encrypted credential envelope and some imported rating-image URLs may also be kept in this browser; the password is never stored in that form. Clear the relevant site storage or use the in-app controls to remove browser-held data.

Hosting, authentication, and measurement

Prefecture Mate uses Supabase for authentication and application data, Vercel for hosting, and Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate product and performance measurement. These providers may process technical request information such as an IP address, user agent, or timing data under their own policies. The public map data request does not grant access to your account data.

Prefecture Mate sign-in on this device

The sign-in page always keeps your email in this browser so the form can fill it next time. If you choose Remember me, Prefecture Mate keeps you signed in on this device after you close the browser. Leave it unchecked on a shared device. This is separate from optional CHUNITHM-NET password login, which is off unless enabled for your account.

Restricted CHUNITHM-NET password login

Most accounts never send a SEGA password to Prefecture Mate. If password login is enabled for your account and you choose Remember this login, Prefecture Mate encrypts your SEGA ID and password on the server and keeps only that encrypted blob in this browser. It is not saved to your account. Logging out, disconnecting CHUNITHM-NET, clearing all data, signing in with a different SEGA ID, or deleting your Prefecture Mate account removes it. Credentials exist in server memory only for that active sync request.

Temporary sync sessions

If an account has multiple AIME cards, encrypted session material may be retained for up to five minutes so you can choose a card. The browser never receives raw CHUNITHM cookies.

Control of your data

You can export your tracker or delete your Prefecture Mate account. Account deletion removes application data; it does not affect CHUNITHM-NET accounts.
