TERMS & DISCLAIMER

A free, unofficial companion.

Prefecture Mate is a free, non-commercial, personal Japan travel companion for tracking visits to all 47 prefectures. It is a hobby project provided at no charge. The app is not sold, and it has no paid features.

Independence and trademarks

Prefecture Mate is independent and unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by SEGA, CHUNITHM, or any related rights holders. Names, characters, logos, and other marks belong to their respective owners. They are used only to identify optional import sources or to describe them factually. This project does not claim official status.

Map and locator data

The public arcade locator combines official ALL.Net location snapshots with secondary, community-reported cabinet counts from the CHUNITHM Wiki (WIKIWIKI). The national overview geometry comes from @svg-maps/japan under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license; deep-zoom prefecture and municipality geometry is derived from Geolonia Japanese Admins and MLIT National Land Numerical Information. Refreshes are periodic and may replace, remove, or change records. Names, addresses, hours, coordinates, map previews, links, and machine counts may be incomplete, stale, duplicated, or wrong; a listing is not a promise that a store is open, reachable, safe, or currently has a particular cabinet.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your Prefecture Mate credentials secure and for the accuracy of records you enter by hand or choose to import. Deleting a Prefecture Mate account removes this app's data. It does not close, change, or affect any CHUNITHM-NET account or public source record.

External services

CHUNITHM-NET is an optional, unofficial import source for personal progress tracking. The locator also links to ALL.Net, WIKIWIKI, Google Maps, Apple Maps, and other external sources. These services are operated by third parties; their availability, content, formats, terms, and privacy practices can change or stop without notice. Opening an external link leaves Prefecture Mate. You are responsible for your own third-party credentials and for following those services' terms of use.

No official data and no warranty

Prefecture Mate is unofficial. Imported, community-reported, official-source, and displayed map data may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Do not rely on a locator listing, address, route, business hour, map image, or cabinet count for safety, travel, or purchase decisions; verify details with the venue and the linked source before relying on them.

Acceptable use

Do not present Prefecture Mate as an official SEGA or CHUNITHM product. Do not use it to access another person's account, disrupt or abuse external services, or submit credentials you are not authorized to use.
